Artist's Comments Colors: Me Pencils/Inks: Richard FriendWell, this really was a treat to see the page when it was still in the breakdown process before Rich went to town with the pencils and inks. And to now come full circle and get to color it. Fuck yeah! This is definitely one of my all time fave pieces that he has drawn. Original Line Art can be found here: [link] As for the coloring, I went more with a "painterly" look instead of traditional comic book style so that I could maintain the integrity of the original line art. Long live KISS! As for the title of this colored version, 2 free KISS tickets to anyone that can tell me who or what I'm paying homage to.
